Phyto Phytopolleine Universal Scalp Elixir Review

Do you suffer from an itchy, flakey scalp? Or do you just want a pick me up for limp hair? Phyto phytopolleine universal elixir is the answer for you!

It comprises of mostly essential oils that cause your scalp to tingle just a little when you apply it. Its a cooling sensation almost. Extremely pleasant and relaxing after a long day.

The bottle has a dropper nozzle that allows you to apply it all over your scalp in easy, controlled amounts. I apply loads of it (probably why I'm running low.. xp) and leave it on for at least 20 minutes before washing it out.

You would think that the oil would weigh down your hair, but it washes out really well, leaving you with beautiful, voluminous hair which is amazing as my hair is thin and limp. Some people say this helps with hair growth which was what I was hoping for to combat my thin hair. So far I haven't noticed any major differences besides the fact that my hair stopped dropping as much as it used to. So that's a plus point!

This product is on the pricey side though, I believe it was 40+ dollars for this? However, if it can help my thin hair, I'm sold. This product is almost a 100% natural and is formulated without any nasty SLFs or parabens. All in all, all wonderful product to use. :)

The Wonders of Vaseline

I was looking around guardian pharmacy just recently and realised that vaseline has a new packaging! Isn't it adorable? xp Vaseline is an amazing multipurpose product that every girl (or even guy) should have on them at ALL times. What? You don't agree with me? You don't see the point in having vaseline? Well I'm here today to prove you wrong.

1. Eyelash conditioner and enhancer

This is a little trick I learnt online when I was trying to find ways to make my eyelashes stop falling due to my perpetual use of waterproof mascara. Waterproof mascara tends to dry out your lashes so do be careful. This not only conditioned my lashes and made them fall less, but I started to notice that my lashes were growing a lot longer.

2. Blister preventer

You've just bought a new pair of heels that your dying to wear. The first time you wear them out, absolute torture. You feet are red and blistered from attempting to break in your shoes. vaseline is very handy in these sort of situations. When ever I feel a blister coming on when I'm out, I apply some vaseline and no blisters! A great reason to have it in your hand bag.

3. Chapped lips

Moisturizing, cheap and effective. What more could you ask for?

4. Dyeing

Whether it be eyebrow or eyelash tinting, or simply dyeing your hair, vaseline is a great product to apply on areas where you often get stains from dyeing your hair. It forms a protective layer and allows you to remove any accidents after your done dyeing.

5. Makeup remover

If no matter what you do you simply cannot get your waterproof eye makeup off, vaseline is the answer for you. I wouldn't suggest using this everyday to remove your makeup, but for extremely stubborn makeup days this does a fantastic job of removing all your makeup.

I hope this post convinced many of you to look into keeping a pot of vaseline at home or in your bag. Its cheap, simple and effective. All hail the wonderful Vaseline!

Nude Skincare Cleansing Facial Oil Review

Cleansing Facial Oil 100ml
This is another product that I would strongly recommend if you are ill and your skin is particularly dehydrated or if you have dry skin. However, even on my combination skin, this product works perfectly well and does not break me out.

If your afraid of using oil cleansers, don't be. They do a wonderful deep clean and could in fact help acne prone skin. :)

When I first started using this I thought the amount of oil that was pumped out in one pump was way too little to cover my entire face. I was absolutely wrong. All you need to do is warm the oil in your hands really well before you apply it on your face and it will work fantastically. Once you massage it into your skin, rinse of with water and it will emulsify and not leave a greasy finish.

This is a 2-in-1 cleanser as it is a makeup remover, but you won't have to wash your face again once you use it. Another pro to this product is that it is formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs, triclosan and other horrid stuff. Natural products such as this one are a personal preference of mine because I usually don't break out when I use them.

The only con I have for this product is that its quite pricey.. :/ I personally feel it was a good investment though. If you get the chance, please give this product a go! You definitely won't regret it! :)

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream Review

So recently I've been very ill. Horrible throat infection and down with a running nose. My skin has been red and peeling from all the rubbing and sneezing. My lips have also been suffering during this period. They're so dry that you can literally see white lines of dried skin on them. Its disgusting. And then, I rediscovered this wonderful product that I picked up in San Francisco when I was there on holiday last winter: Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream from Sephora. This cream comes in a 1.25 oz tube as well as 2.5 oz tub. I would strongly suggest you start of with just a tube if you want to try out this product because a little goes a very long way. On the back of the tube, this cream is described as a #1 selling medicated, vitamin-enriched skin cream in Japan. On their website it states that Yu-Be contains these leading skin conditioning ingredients:
This product has saved my skin. I applied this at night after my usual skin routine all over my face, focusing on areas that are particularly red and peeling. The next morning woke up with my skin very moisturized and it had pretty much stopped peeling. Absolutely amazing. Usually products that are very moisturizing break me out as I have sensitive oily-combination skin. I have absolutely no problems with this cream. If my face feels a little greasy in the morning after I put it on I simply rinse my face with some water and I'm good to go. This product can be used all over the body so if you have very dry skin please give this a go! It can be bought in the United States at Sephora for about $16 I think... I'm not very sure where you can but it in Singapore but I'm sure you'll be able to find it on ebay. Thanks so much for reading. :)
